Founded in 2014, the team mainly researches remote sensing detection, data quality control, meteorological feature extraction and analysis technology based on artificial intelligence, and carries out data analysis and processing with the observation technology of atmospheric remote sensing observation systems such as ground, airborne and spaceborne detection platforms as the core, to provide data and service support for meteorological scientific research and weather modification. In addition, systematic and continuous scientific experiments and comparative verification of atmospheric exploration provide a scientific basis and technical basis for the improvement of the quality of detection data involved in atmospheric science research and finally expand the research results to related disciplines such as hydrology and geology.

The team is composed of Professor Yang Ling, the person in charge, and 7 key teachers, including 2 associate professors and 5 lecturers, all of whom have doctoral degrees. In recent years, the team has carried out several national, provincial, and ministerial projects based on several national, provincial, and ministerial projects such as "Cooperative Observation and Experimental Research of Weather Radar Networking", "Research on Upper Tropospheric Water Vapor Change Based on Fengyun Satellite Observation", "Research on Calibration Technology of New Visibility Observation Equipment", "Research on Double Reflection Transmission Visibility Observation Technology", and formed several major achievements such as visibility measurement system, radar networking collaborative observation, joint observation of multiple detection instruments, and multi-source data fusion application, and published more than 50 papers. It has obtained more than 10 patents and won 1 third prize for provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress.

The team adheres to the development plan of China's meteorological science and technology as the program, closely focuses on the core issues of China's meteorological business and meteorological scientific research direction, carries out high-level and high-quality scientific research and applied research, and strives to become a nationally renowned scientific research team in the field of atmospheric detection and weather modification.
