Since the early 80s of the 20th century, this team has been systematically engaged in the research of atmospheric radiation, satellite remote sensing theory, and application, and is a unique research team engaged in related research in China. There are 6 members of the scientific research team, including 5 senior titles and 5 doctors, the team has presided over or participated in more than ten scientific research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Meteorological Satellite Center, and various provincial bureaus, published more than ten SCI articles, and obtained 11 national invention patents.
At the same time, the light scattering theory of non-spherical particles was improved and developed, and the related methods of atmospheric window region inversion were developed. The research directions of the current research group mainly include temperature estimation and forecasting, trace gas inversion and observation, and aerosol-cloud-radiation interaction.
