For around 60 years, the College of Electronic Engineering has become the unique college to serve society by educating students for meteorological observation profession and electronic and information technology in China.

The College of Electronic Engineering, with over 80 faculty members, is the largest college in the Chengdu University of Information and Technology. Including the excellent and distinctive major, Meteorological Observation, the college offers 6 undergraduate majors and 4 graduate programs. Most of our majors and programs feature interdiscipline especially meteorological observation and electronics, lightning monitoring and electronics, and biomedical electronics.

Our research centers and laboratories are the cradle of innovation not only for the faculty but also for undergraduate and graduate students where the Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate engineering education concept is thoroughly conducted when they work closely with each other.

The advanced weather radar data analysis, the high speed signal processing technique, long-distance RFID and wireless and adaptive foetal ECG monitor… all the work we do in research and education is promoting economic development and making our lives better and better.
