Li Jianbin, a researcher from the National Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, came to CUIT for academic exchanges

On September 15, Li Jianbin, a researcher from the National Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was invited by the College of Electronic Engineering to give an academic report entitled "Radio Telescopes and Radio Environmental Protection" in the International Conference Hall. He Jianxin, the vice president of the college, and teachers and students of the College of Electronic Engineering attended this report.

Li Jianbin made an excellent report on the working principle of radio astronomical telescopes, the current research status at home and abroad, the current research objects of radio astronomy, related technical means, monitoring methods, and extremely weak signal processing. At the same time, many cases are illustrated to show the fruitful achievements in the field of radio telescopes of our nation.

After the report, teachers of the college and researcher Li Jianbin also conducted in-depth discussions on other issues in radio astronomical telescopes.

Expert introduction: Li Jianbin is a researcher at the National Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a professor at the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Secretary of the Party Branch of the Radio Astronomy Research Department of the National Astronomical Observatory, chief of the Sino-German submillimeter-wave telescope group, deputy director of the FAST (Five-hundred-meter Spherical Aperture Radio Telescope) Key Laboratory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and secretary-general of the Radio Astronomy Branch of the Chinese Institute of Electronics.
