The 2024 ISMRM & ISMRT Annual Meeting & Exhibition was held in Singapore from May 4th to 9th, 2024. Two papers by graduate student Li Luying from the School of Electronic Engineering at Chengdu University of Information Technology were accepted for oral presentation, and she attended the conference in Singapore.
On May 7th, during the session 'BOLD Characteristics: Of Mice & Men,' she delivered an oral presentation titled 'Measure the synchrony of fMRI signals on group-averaged fiber architectures.' This study proposed the FAISM method, which relies on group-level fiber structures to calculate fMRI synchrony, primarily using public fiber bundle templates provided by the Human Connectome Project. The improved method not only significantly increases calculation speed but also demonstrates excellent repeatability and stability. The presentation sparked interest and lively discussion among global peers, with scholars from multiple countries praising the research for its innovation and scientific merit.
