From September 5 to 7, 2025, the Second Frontiers in Low-Altitude Economy Meteorology Technology Symposium was grandly held in Hefei City, Anhui Province. Under the theme 'Serving the Development of Low-Altitude Economy and Promoting Innovation in Meteorological Science and Technology', the symposium brought together renowned experts, scholars, research institutions, and industry representatives from home and abroad. They engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on the development needs of the low-altitude economy and cutting-edge meteorological technologies.
Zhang Fugui, dean of the College of Electronic Engineering (School of Atmospheric Sounding), and associate professor Wu Hao led the delegation to the Symposium. During the event, the faculty and students presented their research findings in respective sessions, engaging in active exchanges and in-depth discussions with fellow experts. The school's research outcomes garnered significant attention from the attendees, who unanimously recognized their distinctive foresight and practical applicability in the field of low-altitude meteorology, providing solid scientific support for the development of the low-altitude economy. Through these interactions, they gained insights into the work of their international peers, clarified their subsequent research directions, and made more scientific plans for future research tasks.
