On January 8, the "Sea-Sky Observer 1," an unmanned surface vessel for marine meteorological observation co-developed by the university, successfully completed its maiden voyage in the waters of Pingtan, Fujian. Faculty and students from the College of Electronic Engineering (College of Atmospheric Observation) were actively involved in the trial operation. The university’s expertise in meteorological observation technology and data analysis provided strong technical support for the smooth execution of this trial voyage.
